Aylinka releases debut EP ‘Gece’
A multilingual journey through the night — available now on all streaming platforms
ARNHEM – Arnhem-born and raised artist Aylinka has released her debut EP ‘Gece’, a five-track record built entirely around the theme of night. Available on all streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music since 17 April 2026, the EP was shaped in close collaboration with demiray — a rapper and artist originally from Hatay, Turkey, whose deep, unmistakable voice features on every track.
‘Gece’ — Turkish for ‘night’ — explores what becomes visible when the light disappears. Not only on a personal level, but also in the way people behave when they think no one is watching.
In the dark, things surface that stay hidden during the day — both within yourself and in the people around you.
— Aylinka, on the concept of ‘Gece’
The EP grew out of a creative process that began with ‘zifir’ — the first track Aylinka and demiray worked on together. That collaboration set the tone for everything that followed: the type of beats, the way vocals and production were balanced, and the overall atmosphere of the record. ‘Zifir’ was not just the starting point; it was the blueprint.
Demiray’s contribution goes well beyond featuring. He helped shape the sound of the EP from the ground up — bringing ideas for mixing, suggesting beat directions, and lending his flow across all five tracks. Rapping in Dutch and German, he moves between hard rap and melodic lines, balancing intensity with atmosphere. His voice is distinctive and hard to place: rooted, restless, and instantly recognisable.
Originally from Hatay and shaped by time in Germany, demiray brings a perspective forged between cultures. Inspired by artists like UFO361, his style draws from the rawness of the streets and the depth that comes with displacement and identity — a duality that bleeds into every bar he writes.
Five tracks. One night.
The titles weave together three languages — Turkish, Dutch and German — reflecting both artists’ backgrounds. Aylinka sings primarily in Dutch and Turkish, while demiray’s rap verses shift between Dutch and German. That multilingualism gives the record a distinctive sound that bridges different worlds without trying to explain itself.
Aylinka wrote, produced and arranged the EP independently. For ‘Gri’, she collaborated with producer Mystery Music Beats, who contributed samples that she then used to build the beat. Together with demiray’s creative input across the full project, the EP positions both artists as a serious creative force — and marks a confident debut.

demiray
Originally from Hatay and shaped by time in Germany, demiray brings a deep, unmistakable voice to trap music. Inspired by artists like UFO361, his style moves between hard rap and melodic flows, balancing intensity with atmosphere and presence. Growing up between two cultures gave demiray a perspective that bleeds into his music — drawing from the rawness of the streets and the depth that comes with displacement and identity. That duality is what sets him apart: a sound that feels both familiar and hard to place, rooted but restless.
